Turning on Le Moyne 2-Step Verification for Le Moyne Accounts
Le Moyne College requires all employees to enable 2-Step Verification, also known as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) or 2-Factor Authentication (2FA), for their Le Moyne Google accounts and Le Moyne Services.
The mobile authenticator app that Le Moyne IT recommends using is Google Authenticator or Twilio Authy. Both apps can be used across multiple devices including on iPads and tablets, or a smartphone. Twilio Authy will also work on desktops or laptops. When setting up your Twilio Authy account you will be required to create a back up password. This is so you can utilize the app across multiple devices or easily transition your Twilio Authy app to a new device. Remember to log this password in your password manager to ensure it is not lost for future use.
