Hetterich Fund Application Now Open!
The Hetterich Fund supports faculty and students whose projecs promote engagement with the global community through global experience, global impact, and meaningful collaboration.
Timeline Overview (for each month in the Fall and Spring Semesters):
The timeline for the review process is provided below:
- 1st to 15th – Proposal Submission Period:
○Applicants submit their funding proposals by the 15th of the month.
○Submissions are accepted during the first two weeks of the month
- 16th to 20th – Initial Screening:
○The Director/Chair conducts an initial screening of the proposals.
○This stage includes checking for eligibility, completeness, and adherence to submission guidelines.
- 21st to 29th – Proposal Evaluation and Review:
○The committee conducts reviews of the proposals.
○Proposals are assessed based on merit, alignment with the funding goals, and the strength of the proposal.
○The committee holds final discussions, ranks proposals, and decides which to approve for funding.
○Funding decisions are finalized and necessary documentation is prepared.
- 30th – Decision Notification:
○Applicants are notified of the committee's decisions by the 30th of the month.
○Approved projects receive confirmation of funding, while declined proposals may receive feedback.
