Government & Foundation Relations assists members of the Le Moyne Community in their efforts to obtain government and foundation grants to support research and other scholarly and service activities.
External Funding Resources – Assistance in identifying funding opportunities, discussing proposal ideas, reviewing draft proposals and assisting in the submission process.Community members are actively encouraged to search for opportunities individually; however, all submissions would need routed through the Government & Foundation Relation team members.
Internal Funding Resources – The Le Moyne Community has various internal grant opportunities, most of which support the research or associated travel for Faculty and Students.The Provost’s office maintains a listing of these opportunities.
Submitting Your Proposal - The Government & Foundation Relations team understands the importance of securing external support for faculty research, scholarship and other College efforts.Research related to humans or animals would require pre-approval by the Institutional Review Board (IRB).

Post-Award Compliance – Le Moyne performs post-award compliance procedures to safeguard project funds, maximize Le Moyne’s cash flows position and maintain good relationships with the funder, Principal Investigator and College employees.Procedures include preparing financial & programmatic reports to the funder, monitoring for compliance with funder and College requirements, assuring reimbursement of project expenditures, coordinating documentation and approvals, providing training and support to the Community and responding to inquiries of the funders or College Community in a timely fashion.
