Are you a undergraduate or graduate student who is Interested in working for Information Technology? Fill out the job postings listed on Le Moyne IT's Handshake page. Typically, Information Technology hires right before the start of the Fall and Spring Semesters. IT positions are not dependent on workstudy aid. 

What skills does a starting student employee need to work for IT?

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; Intellectually curious with a passion for personal development, learning, and teaching.
  • Ability to follow directions and documentation and communicate them effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to work with confidential information appropriately.
  • Self-motivated and proactive; attentive to detail; organized.

A common misconception is that you need to have an extensive background in technology in order to work for Information Technology. That is not the case! While certainly it is helpful, having the skills above are what we deem essential to succeeding. As a Work Study, you will receive training in relevant technology skills, as well as be provided with a robust knowledge base enabling you to serve the Le Moyne Community. .
