From Nov. 1 to 3, 2024, 14 physicists from 10 different Jesuit Colleges and Universities from the United States gathered at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, to discuss a range of important topics. Among the participants was Chistopher Bass, Ph.D., of the Department of Physics at Le Moyne. The event featured in-depth explorations of the potential of sharing courses among the colleges, the use of AI in the physics classroom, strategies for recruitment and retention, and best practices in lab courses. This collaborative meeting provided a valuable opportunity for participants to share insights and develop innovative approaches to enhance physics education across our Jesuit institutions.
