Warner Presents Paper in the U.K.

J. Christopher Warner, Ph.D., professor of English, presented “Reigning on High, Doing Battle from the Low Countries: The Publication and Distribution of Nicholas Sander’s De Visibili Monarchia Ecclesiae, 1571–1592” at the 2023 Early Modern British and Irish Catholicism Conference hosted by Durham University in July. Warner was in Durham this past summer on a Huntington Library – Durham University Exchange Fellowship, which supports research in the special-collection libraries at Palace Green, Ushaw College and Durham Cathedral.
