Chandan Jha, Ph.D., associate professor of finance, co-wrote an article published in the International Journal of Finance and Economics. The article recounts that, since what is known as the Arab Spring, corruption in the region has become more democratized. Consequently, corruption's widening impact on the income gap has become smaller. The paper can be found here.
