Chandan Jha, Ph.D., associate professor of finance, published an article in Indian Economic Review. The article, coauthored with Sudipta Sarangi of Virginia Tech and Ishita Tripathi of Ahmedabad University, finds that historical agro-ecological factors continue to shape individual attitudes regarding women's rights and abilities in the labor force, business, and politics.
