Patrick Lawler, writer in residence in the Creative Writing Program in the English Department, had a short film presented at the Cucalorus Film Festival—Wilmington, N.C.—Nov. 16-20, 2022. “I Fell in Love with the World” was written by Lawler in collaboration with director Ted Schaeffer.
