Poet Aurora Luque, who has visited Le Moyne College several times and whose work has been extensively studied by Professor Josefa Álvarez of the Department of World Languages and Literatures, has been awarded the 2022 National Spanish Poetry Award for her collection of poems titled "Un número finito de veranos” (“A Finite Number of Summers”). The jury has highlighted her work for its “exciting, demanding, transparent lyrical depth, which places the author’s unmistakable voice as one of the great poets of our time." Luquewill visit Le Moyne at the end of February to present her book.
