Susan Scharoun, Ph.D., of the Department of Psychology, was invited to present on the complex interaction of Borderline Personality Disorder and Intellectual Disability by the NYS Alliance for Inclusion and Intervention.
This state-wide webinar will assist participants in understanding what Borderline Personality Disorder is and how it may interact with a person’s intellectual challenges. The presentation will provide participants with concrete recommendations for service providers to use to be more successful.
This is the second topic in a series of webinars at which Dr. Scharoun has been invited to present. In April she presented on the Importance of Social Relationships: Teaching and Promoting Social Skills that Support Them.
