J. Christopher Warner, Ph.D., professor of English, was one of 12 speakers invited from the U.S., England and Europe to speak at the Huntington Library in San Marino, Calif, as part of the public conference, "Rogue Printers, Book Smugglers, Annotators and Scribes: The Book Culture of the Elizabethan Catholic Underground," Nov. 8-9. His presentation was titled "The Business of Catholic Controversial Literature: An Elizabethan Exile in the Low Countries' Book Trade."
