Subas Dhakal, visiting assistant professor in the Department of Physics, was selected as a Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics (KITP) Scholar for 2020-22. The KITP is a research institute of the University of California, Santa Barbara, and brings theorists in different areas of physics together to work on topics at the forefront of theoretical physical science. The grant will enable Dhakal to travel to KITP and conduct research in theoretical physics for a total of six weeks in the next three years.
