Professor Deborah Tooker, Ph.D., of the Department of Anthropology, Criminology, and Sociology, presented a paper titled “Alternative constructions of the interiority discourse with incorporation in a market economy among the Akha of Northern Thailand” in the panel “The Inner State of Others: Psychological Attribution in Institutional Context” at the Biennial Meeting of the Society for Psychological Anthropology, Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico, April 4-7, 2019. Students from the Anthropology Club also attended the conference.
