Alison Marganski presented a paper, "Cyber-sexual Violence: Exploring the Role of Technology in Sexual Violence Victimization" at the American Society for Criminology’s Annual Conference in Atlanta, Ga., in November.
She also organized and chaired a session titled "Flawed Justice: When System Responses Fail Victims/Survivors and the Community at Large ... and What We Can Do About It."
Marganski was also a discussant for an author meets critic session on technocrime and criminological theory. Additionally, she served as the programming chair for the American Society of Criminology's Division on Women and Crime.
