Leigh Fought, Ph.D., professor of history and director of gender and women's studies, will discuss Frederick Douglass' role in the woman's rights movement on Friday, July 20, at the 170th anniversary of the first Woman's Rights Convention in Seneca Falls, N.Y. Fought's lecture, "Frederick Douglass and Woman's Rights" will be held at 4 p.m. in the Wesleyan Chapel, where the original convention took place, at the National Women's Rights Historical Park.
