Edward Ruchalski of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts is the creator of Pond Songs, an installation consisting of audio recordings, photographs and videos of Ruchalski's observations of the pond life at Stone Quarry Hill Art Park (SQHAP) during his artist residency from summer 2016 through summer 2018.
The installation will include a space for visitors to sit and listen. Art supplies will be available and all—children and adults, alike—are invited to create a sketch or picture that will be hung on the wall and included in the installation.
The installation will be up for the month of July on Thursdays-Saturdays from noon-4 p.m. Ruchalski will give an artist's talk on Saturday, July 14, at 5 p.m.
