Julie Grossman, Ph.D., professor of English and communication and film studies, has had two of her essays reprinted in a new collection on film noir called "Film Noir Prototypes: Origins of the Movement," ed. Alain Silver and James Ursini (Applause/Hal Leonard Publishers, 2018). The essays included are “Looking Back—Victorinoir: Modern Women and the Fatal(e) Progeny of Victorian Representations” and "Women and Film Noir: Pulp Fiction and the Woman's Picture."
