Christopher Bass, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Physics at Le Moyne College, participated in the American Physical Society’s Congressional Visits Day, an annual event that brings scientists to Washington, D.C., to meet with members of Congress and their staffs. The event provided participants with training and coordinated opportunities to advocate for strong federal support of scientific research, STEM education, and evidence-based policymaking.
