Kate Costello-Sullivan, Ph.D., of the Department of English, recently presented on two different panels. The first, hosted by Boston College, was on Irish Women Writers to celebrate the launch of Paige Reynolds' new book on Modernism. Dr. Costello-Sullivan participated with Marjorie Howes (BC), Paige Reynolds (Holy Cross), and Claire Bracken (Union College). The second was a Roundtable hosted by EFACIS (the European Federation of Associations and Centers for Irish Studies) on "Celibacy in Irish Women's Writing." She presented forthcoming work on Norah Hoult's "Miss Jocelyn" and James Joyce's "Eveline."
