Tooker Gives Presentation

Prof. Deborah Tooker, Department of Anthropology, Criminology, and Sociology, gave a presentation titled “Affective dimensions of the self in the turn to a market economy among the Akha of Northern Thailand: is the ‘soft skills’ discourse relevant?” in the panel titled “Soft Skills in Changing Societies” at the 116th annual meeting of the American Anthropological Association, Washington, D.C., Nov. 30 to Dec. 3, 2017.
