Mission Statement
The Employee Forum looks to foster a supportive, collaborative, and professional environment among employees.  Key components include:
  • Enhancing and identifying opportunities to improve communications campus-wide;
  • Providing professional development, community service, and social networking opportunities;
  • Cultivating an understanding of Ignatian values and how that impacts our work, pursuant to the College's mission and vision and the spirit of “magis.”

Employee Forum is collaborating with Sodexo for Le Moyne Cans Hunger. Donations of non-perishable goods are still being collected. This is our 10 week campus-wide effort to help eliminate hunger in our community.  Look for collection boxes across campus (Mitchell Hall, Grewen 3rd Floor Lobby, Science Center, Cafteria).  We're asking everyone to bring one non-perishable item each week to help the Interreligious Food Consortium.  

Did you know that people with the dolphin personality type are known for focusing on creating a spirit of goodwill around them and are best at helping those around them achieve their goals? "Unassuming and dedicated to their cause, whatever it may be; they derive great satisfaction from fostering greatness in others, working in the background to inspire and encourage them.  Dolphins are dedicated to making those around them happy, working instinctively to create an atmosphere of peace and acceptance."  Winners will be given a certificate from the Employee forum recognizing this award and will receive one free lunch at the Campus Dining Center. ​

Do you know an employee on campus who is a true Dolphin? Nominate them today to be recognized for their efforts and dedication by the Employee Forum Executive Board and the Le Moyne community.

For the month of October and November, Jeans Friday donations will support Manatee Middle School in Naples, Florida. Assistant Principle and Le Moyne alumna, Carey Gilcher, reached out for support after the hurricane. Students and the surrounding area were hit hard and the money will help provide warm clothes for winter, food, and additional needs to help get them back on their feet.

You can take your $5 donation to any member of the forum! ​

Thanks to your generous support, $325 has been raised to support Tiny Home for Good.

Chosen monthly, winners will receive a certificate from the Employee Forum recognizing this award and a lunch at the Campus Dining Center for the winner and a friend.


  • The membership of the Employee Forum will be composed of ten elected members representing their respective divisions; five exempt employee and five non-exempt employees. 
  • Exempt members will be elected by exempt employees
  • Non-exempt members will be elected by non-exempt employees
  • Employees can self-nominate
  • Five new members will be elected each year to serve a two-year term
  • 2 Chairs (1 exempt and 1 non-exempt), 2 co-chairs (1 exempt and 1 non-exempt), and 2 secretaries (1 exempt and 1 non-exempt) will be elected by the Executive Board and serve for only one year in the same office
*Co-chairs are expected to move to the Chair position for their second year
