Having access to healthy food is critical to students’ success. Whether you are starting your day off with a nourishing breakfast or fueling up before an exam, the foods you choose can make a difference in your day. The Phins Share Meals program was designed to assist students in meeting this important need.
The Division of Student Development and Sodexo Dining Services are partnering to offer Phins Share Meals, a no-cost swipe program available to Le Moyne College students facing food insecurity. Current students are eligible to apply for the program privately online and, if accepted, will receive a designated number of meal swipes available for use during this semester. The meal swipes allow the student to eat breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner in the LaCasse Dining Center on the first floor of the campus center. Any unused meals awarded will expire at the end of the semester.
Students may apply for the program if they are a matriculated (degree-seeking) student who is currently enrolled in at least six (6) credits. Having a meal plan does not disqualify a student from applying.
Application Process:
- To apply, complete the online application demonstrating how this program will assist in fostering success as a student
- Schedule an individual meeting with Beth Scanlon, Student Success Coach (342 Reilly Hall), to discuss your application in further detail. Go to http://bethscanlon.youcanbook.me to arrange and appointment.
Final approval is based on eligibility and availability of meals. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Please pass this information along to any students whom you feel would benefit from this program.
