Peace Action New York State has awarded Peace Action Le Moyne (PALM) the Don Schaffer Peacemaker Award for the 2021-2022 school year, noting that PALM has done exceptional work engaging with and serving the Syracuse community, including volunteering with We Rise Above the Streets, canvassing with the Back From the Brink campaign, and working closely with the Syracuse Peace Council.
