An article by Bernard Arogyaswamy of the Department of Management and Leadership at Le Moyne and Waldek Koziol of the University of Warsaw School of Management was published in the Journal of Environment and Pollution. It is titled “Curbing Dependence on Coal in China and India to Attain Global Carbon Neutrality: Challenges and Options.” In the article, Arogyaswamy and Koziol contend that to maintain energy security as well as social and geopolitical stability, China and India will need considerable help to reach net zero carbon. Europe and North America will have to step up in various ways to restrict temperature rise to 2 deg C by 2050.
