Carmen Giunta, Ph.D., professor emeritus of chemistry, gave an invited presentation at the European Chemical Society's Chemistry Congress in Dublin on July 11 in a session on Education, History, Cultural Heritage and Ethics in Chemistry. His presentation was titled "Science and policy of ozone depletion by chlorofluorocarbons before discovery of the Antarctic ozone hole."
