Larry Tanner, Ph.D., professor of biological and environmental sciences, is the first author of "Record of palaeoclimate across the Cretaceous–Palaeogene boundary from palaeosols in the west-central San Juan Basin, New Mexico, USA," published in The Depositional Record, a publication of the International Association of Sedimentologists. The paper, published with Spencer Lucas of Albuquerque, N.M., interprets changes in climate at the time of dinosaur extinction at the end of the Cretaceous Period. The paper can be accessed here.
