Jeffrey Chin, Ph.D., of the Department of Anthroplogy, Criminology and Sociology, received the American Sociological Association's 2023 Distinguished Contributions to Teaching Award. The awards is given to honor outstanding contributions to the undergraduate and/or graduate teaching and learning of sociology that improve the quality of teaching. The American Sociological Association's Annual Awards are the highest honors the association confers.
