Linda Pennisi and Patrick Lawler, writers-in-residence in the Creative Writing Program in the Department of English, will read from their recently published books of poetry. Pennisi will read from The Burning Book (Nine Mile Press, 2022), and Lawler will read from Breathe a World (The Breathing Books) (Tiger Bark Press, 2022). The event will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, the DWC at the YMCA of Syracuse at 340 Montgomery St. It is free and open to the public.
