Christie Novak of the College's Department of Accounting and W. Robert Knechel of the University of Florida wrote a paper titled "What Does an Audit Really Cost? An Exploratory Study of Auditor Pricing of Initial Engagements in a Fixed Cost Model," which has been accepted for publication in the International Journal of Auditing. The International Journal of Auditing is a high-quality specialist journal that publishes articles from the broad spectrum of auditing. Its primary aim is to communicate clearly, to an international readership, the results of original auditing research conducted in research institutions and/or in practice.
