Professor J. Christopher Warner, Department of English, presented a paper at the University of Antwerp, Belgium, titled "In and Out of Storage: The Value of a Thousand Books left with Christopher Plantin for Safekeeping" as part of the Conference on the Economic History of the Early Modern Book Trade, Oct. 5 - 8. Warner also had an essay published in a book that was released at the time of the conference, Lux Librorum: Essays on Books and History for Chris Coppens (printed by the Flanders Book Historical Society, 2018, a volume paying tribute to the retired head of the Rare Books Division at the University of Louvain). Warner's essay is titled "Quaestiones theologicae, theses sacrae, and Some Conjectures about the Masius Family of Printers."
